Creamy Leek Pasta Sauce

This Creamy Leek Pasta Sauce is a one pot recipe that is made with sliced leeks, butter, cream, vegetable stock, parmesan cheese and pepper and serves well over any type of pasta!

You can make this sauce on the thicker side, by removing some of the liquid and placing in a small bowl with 1 or 2 tbsp of cornstarch.

Whisking, mixing it well and adding back into the sauce during the cooking process. 

Some people swear by not using the green part of the leeks as they think its to hard. I love the green part and can assure you that if you sauté it in butter along with the white parts till tender it will become just as soft and palpable. BENEFITS OF LEEKS

Leeks are high in vitamin K, which is important for blood clotting and bone health. They also contain vitamins A and C, which are important for a healthy immune system and skin. Leeks are also a good source of folate, a B-vitamin that’s essential for cell growth and development.

HOW TO MAKE LEEK PASTA SAUCE

  • Start by slicing your leeks, then place them in a a colander and rinse off any mud or dirt then strain
  • Next bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and add in your pasta (any pasta works) i used penne.
  • Cook till al dente, strain the water out and set aside
  • In the same pot or pan add in the butter and leeks, sauté for 5 mins before adding in the minced garlic and chopped onion and mustard powder. 
  • Sauté everything till soft, then add in the chicken stock and bring to a medium heat.
  • Simmer for 2 mins then add in the cream, parmesan cheese and pepper.
  • Simmer 2 more mins, then toss in the pasta.
  • Serve hot! 

I served this over some penne pasta today!

If you like the taste of cooked onions or fresh vegetables then you are going to go bonkers for this dish! With the addition of the parmesan cheese it becomes creamier.

Add as much parmesan cheese as you’d like!

Pasta with Mushroom Sauce

This Pasta with Mushroom Sauce is vegetarian and also has some broccoli in it. The sauce is made first by sautéing the mushrooms till brown, then the addition of white wine or chicken stock and cream is added to create a creamy sauce for your pasta.

To thicken up the mushroom sauce, you can add either cornstarch or flour!

Be sure to remove some of the liquid to do this and place it in a small cup and mix well before pouring into the sauce. Cook over medium heat to thicken to your liking.

Want some protein in this meal?

Simply pan fry some chicken breasts in butter prior and shred it in or serve on the side.

This Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce PASTA recipe is out of this world delicious! And is made with fusilli pasta that is ready to serve on the table in and around 30 minutes!

  • Pasta of your choice, I choose fusilli pasta
  • Butter 
  • Parsley 
  • Garlic Powder
  • Lemon
  • Cream
  • Flour

HOW TO MAKE Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce PASTA

  • Start by cooking the pasta cook till al dente
  • Strain and set aside
  • In a medium pot add the cream then whisk in the flour and blend till smooth over medium-low heat
  • Add in the parmesan cheese and butter
  • Seasonings and toss with lemon juice and zest
  • Add in the pasta, toss to coat
  • Serve

This Easy Ramen Noodles recipe just like the popular Tiktok ramen which has sesame seeds, scrambled eggs and scallions that are mixed with a butter, garlic, soya sauce and brown sugar broth to create the ultimate comfort food. 

This is a popular recipe that is also now known as TIKTOK Ramen over the past few years.

Tiktok Ramen

Is more sweet and savory vs spicy and savory. That is because it has brown sugar and soya sauce in it. If you want some spice to this dish simply add in some red pepper flakes. 

What type of ramen is best for ramen noodles

You can use your favorite really, just omit the seasoning as you will be making your own with this recipe. 

Easy Ramen Noodle recipe with egg

The trick to making these eggs fluffy lies in the technique and it is as SIMPLE as using CHOPSTICKS to make the eggs first before the ramen

  • Start by whisking / beating your eggs till smooth in a medium bowl
  • Add in your cooking oil to the pan
  • Pour in your egg mixture to the pan
  • Cook over medium heat, once you see the egg starts to bubble on the edges
  • Take chopsticks and fold inward slowly, from corner to corner.
  • Fold over the eggs this is how they remain fluffy, set aside to toss with the cooked ramen
  • Cook the ramen, strain and set aside
  • Prepare the sauce then toss in the ramen and eggs
  • Serve

This recipe is packed full of protein and is inexpensive meal that can really save someone a lot of money if made in replace of most meals. 

You do not have to a broke student etc to enjoy this. It is a fulling meal and very comforting too!

Easy Lobster Ramen recipe

This Easy Lobster Ramen recipe starts with instant noodles a lobster tail, cream, butter and garlic along with the seasonings from the pre-made noodles. 

IS LOBSTER RAMEN GOOD

Yes, but i highly recommend using a instant ramen that you love as a base. Everyone has different taste when it comes to ramen, however for this recipe I used a VERY POPULAR KOREAN RAMEN BRAND called Samyang Buldak.

I also used the CREAM CARBONARA ramen which is also one of my favorite types of ramen then I simply added cream butter and garlic to make this dish stand out!

I love Samyang products and especially there cream carbonara ramen noodles, I also love lobster so why not merge the two!

  • Cream, butter and garlic along with fresh scallions (green onions)

Buldak Cheese Ramen recipe

This Korean Buldak Cheese Ramen recipe is super easy to make as it comes in an instant noodle package that contains all you need! I like to add in some milk to make it extra creamy then a fried egg, cheese slice and some scallions which makes it pure comfort food.

If you have been on Instagram & Tiktok the past few years, you may have seen this popular ramen being made.

It has now become a favorite of mine. As it is quick and easy comfort food by the Koreans.

WHAT IS CHEESE BULDAK

It is like what Mac n cheese is to Americans but Ramen noodles to Koreans.

HOW TO MAKE BULDAK CHEESE RAMEN

  • Start by brining a medium pot with 3 cups of water a boil 
  • Once boiling add in the ramen noodles, lower the heat and cover for 2 mins
  • Remove the lid and stir the ramen, cook till al dente roughly 3 more mins
  • Strain the water then add 1/2 cup of milk and the 2 packages of seasonings
  • Add the cheese package and as much of the red spice package as desired (be careful it is spicy)
  • Stir to combine and add a cheese slice overtop
  • Cover and simmer on low heat till the cheese melts
  • Serve with scallions and an egg if desired, enjoy!

WHAT IS IN BULDAK CHEESE RAMEN 

It is an Instant Noodle flavor that comes from Samyang Buldak noodle company from Korea. It can be found now worldwide, even Walmart sells it. 

HOW TO MAKE BULDAK RAMEN LESS SPICY

Each Samyang Buldak ramen comes with a spicy sauce specifically for the noodles. The packaging is the same, red. Use as much or little of this packaging as you desire. It contains the heat your wanting or not for the noodles. The picture below is for the cream carbonara buldak ramen however, just change the name to cheese and the packaging is the same.

The Flying Dutchman Burger is 100% keto as it has no bun, rather it is 2 meat patties and 2 cheese slices stuffed in-between grilled onions to create the burger.

I made mine with regular hamburger meat you can use lean meat to make it healthier!

Also note, this recipe makes 2 burgers. If you want to feed more people double it up etc.
