Easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade

This easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade is made with simple ingredients that makes for the most easy and tasty steak that everyone is sure to enjoy!

HOW TO COOK THE PERFECT STEAK

  • You must not forget the marinade, marinade that steak for 45 minutes prior on the counter with kosher salt, pepper and olive oil.
  • Now the trick to cooking the best steak is to use ample butter when searing it.
  • Also you are going to be searing the steak on a high heat while it cooks.
  • Using a cast iron skillet is highly recommended.
  • Then the second trick is to season the steak generously on both sides prior to cooking with salt, pepper and drizzling olive oil all over.
  • If you follow those three tips you are sure to prepare the best steaks.

When it comes to the steak cut you use. That is important too, the better the quality and cut of meat. The better the steak also.

3 ingredients Steak Marinade

BUTTER, ROSEMARY AND FRESH MINCED GARLIC

Seasoned with salt and pepper and garlic powder also if desired

WHAT CUT OF STEAK FOR A GREAT STEAK

The cut I used for this recipe was Strip loin.

Easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade

WHERE DOES THE STRIP LOIN STEAK COME FROM

The strip comes from the loin from a cow.

HOW TO SEASON STRIP LOIN STEAK

Season the steak on both sides with kosher salt and pepper.

Then drizzle olive oil all over the steak and allow it to marinade on the counter top for 45 minutes prior to cooking.

Prior to cooking add the butter all around and sear on high heat to cook.

Easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade

The other steak cuts I like to use for this recipe are:

  • Ribeye
  • Fillet or Strip
  • T-Bone

These steak can be served rare, medium rare or medium well done.

  • Strip steak is best served medium rare, in order to cook it that way you will want to sear it for 4-7 minutes on one side then flip it over once and sear it for another 3 minutes on the other.
  • If you prefer your steak medium done, then you will want to sear it for 5-8 minutes on one side and 3-4 on the other.
  • And always let your steak sit off the heat for 5 minutes to rest before serving!
Easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade

These steaks are something I like to treat myself to at least once per month. I mean you could always go to an expensive steakhouse and order something similar to this dish and pay triple the price.

Or make them at home for a fraction of the price and have it served on the table in no time at all.

Easy 3 ingredient Steak marinade

This recipe works very well served alongside some Sauteed Asparagus.

Steak cooking times vary based on the cut: Always cook your steak over medium-high heat, searing it on each side only once.

Turning the steak often sometimes leads to a overcooked and tough steak.

  • Sirloin Steak: Cook for 6-7 minutes on one side and 4-5 on the other for a medium rare steak. Up the cooking time by one minute to have a medium steak.
  • Ribeye: Cook for 5-6 minutes on one side and 3 on the other for a medium rare steak
  • Fillet or Strip: Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side and 3 on the other for a medium rare steak
  • T-Bone: Cook for 8-10 minutes on one side and 4-5 on the other for a medium rare steak

Best Instant Curry Ramen Recipe

This is the Best Instant Curry Ramen Recipe I have found yet, it is made with Buldak Curry Ramen Noodles. Which can be found in almost every Asian grocery store if you do not have those type on hand you can try my other method below! It is spicy however with the addition of coconut milk it mellows out real nicely.

The reason I find this Instant Curry Ramen recipe the best is because of the sauce that comes with the dried noodles, it contains all the spices you need for the dish. It is savory, spicy and has lots of curry flavor.

Even though this type of ramen brand originates from Korea, I am going to list it under Indian since it is fully inspired by an Indian curry.

If i could I would list it under KOREAN, INDIAN recipes or wait maybe I can 🙂 Yes I can!!

IS CURRY RAMEN GOOD

Oh yes, but the trick is to add coconut milk which makes it so creamy and rich!

WHAT DOES CURRY RAMEN TASTE LIKE

It tastes like any other curry dish, however instead of serving it with rice its served as a soup with ramen noodles.

WHAT IS CURRY RAMEN

It is ramen cooked in a creamy curry broth, you can also omit the coconut milk and replace that with chicken stock if desired.

BULDAK CURRY RAMEN NOODLES RECIPE

Below is the ramen I use for this recipe, it comes with a pre-made curry packet that is spicy and full of curry flavor. If you cannot get your hands on this type of ramen. I suggest using your favorite ramen but just the noodles themselves not the seasoning.

Then in a small sauce pan heat up some butter and toss in 2 fresh minced garlic and 2 tbsp of curry powder and saute for 2 mins till fragrant. Mix that directly into the COCONUT CREAM MILK instead of this Buldak seasoning. It will work well too!

Buldak Curry Ramen can be found now in most WALMART stores in the International isle or in any Asian / Korean grocery store.

BULDAK CURRY RAMEN

How to make RAMEN CURRY

  • In a medium stock pot bring a few cups of water to a boil and toss in just the dry ramen noodles
  • Cook to eldente, strain the water and set aside
  • In the same pot add the coconut milk and 2 packages of seasoning from the Buldak package. If you are using regular ramen make a rough of butter and curry powder prior and add that instead
  • Whisk all together then toss in the sliced peppers and green onions, simmer on low heat for 3 mins till the veggies are softer
  • Toss in the shrimp and once the shrimp becomes pink toss back in the cooked ramen
  • Serve hot!
