Best Instant Ramen Yakisoba recipe

This Best Instant Ramen Yakisoba recipe is made with spicy chicken Samyang Buldak noodles and are super easy to make and very delicious!

If you have been on Tiktok you probably have seen how popular Buldak ramen is and I have become a huge fan myself.

I created this recipe myself, it is super easy really and only has 2 additions to the instant noodles. Which is simply Japanese mayo and green onions.

Samyang Buldak provides also spicy mayo that you can also use in this recipe, personally I prefer to add fresh Japanese Mayo which is more white in color vs the packaged yellow red kind that comes with. It tastes much better in my option, you can test that out for yourself if you choose. The package of mayo that comes with does provide extra spice if your into that.

These noodles however are spicy as is so I am good with omitting the packaged mayo. Also the Japanese mayo brings down the heat level from the Buldak sauce and makes for a creamy noodle that your sure to enjoy!

WHAT IS Yakisoba

Yakisoba is a Japanese wheat noodle that is made with a stir fry of sliced vegetables.

This is Samyang ramen version of that dish

Simple Kimchi Ramen recipe

This Simple Kimchi Ramen recipe is made with one of my favorite Instant Noodles and has the addition of real fresh Kimchi added to the pot to really enhance all those delicious flavors of the Ramen Noodles. Ready in less than 5 minutes too! Can’t get anyway simpler than this.

Love Instant Ramen recipes? Try my Shin Ramen Recipe, this Creamy Buldak Ramen Carbonara recipe, or my Kimchi Ramen Soup.

I highly recommended trying out different Kimchi products to see which one you like. There is a variety out there and for me I have tried most of them. Some are better than others or more geared to ones own personal taste.

Once you find a good Kimchi, be sure to always have it in your fridge then you can make the most easy and tasty homemade Instant Kimchi Ramen in no time.

The craving hits me often, so I tend to make this every other week or so.

HOW DOES KIMCHI RAMEN TASTE

Sour and sweet along with spicy! It is the most delicious combination of flavors to make with ramen noodles if you ask me.

IS KIMCHI RAMEN VEGETARIAN

Depends on the fresh Kimchi that is used, most Kimchi’s contain fish sauce so it is best to read the label if your looking for a purely vegetarian Kimchi.

IS KIMCHI RAMEN SPICY

Again, that depends on the type of Kimchi Ramen you are using. This brand is spicy but for me I would rate it a level 6 on a 10 scale. Then if you add fresh Kimchi that can add extra spice.

And the amount depends on how much spice is in the Kimchi that you are using, some Kimchi’s are actually mild while others can be pretty spicy.

HOW TO MAKE KIMCHI RAMEN

  1. Start with your favorite package of Kimchi Instant Ramen
  2. Then get your hands on your favorite fresh Kimchi
  3. And then you can either cook the fresh kimchi with the ramen or serve it fresh on top!
  4. I like to cook some in the ramen then add some cold fresh on top!

where kimchi originated

WHERE KIMCHI ORIGINATED

Korea and I highly recommend finding a Korean Kimchi brand vs Chinese as it is less fishy in my option and tastes better.

But to each there own! I HOPE you give this recipe a try it is so good!

Creamy Buldak Ramen Carbonara Recipe

This Creamy Buldak Ramen Carbonara Recipe is made with one package of Korean Carbonara ramen noodles, water, whole milk, bacon and havarti cheese. With the addition of fresh cracked pepper. It is a rich and decadent dish that can be ready in less than 30 minutes!

Carbonara Ramen

WHAT IS Carbonara Ramen

It is a remake of the Italian Pasta Carbonara that is made with pasta instead of ramen. And has all the same other elements such as cheese, egg and bacon. Not to mention lots of black pepper or to your liking!

My ramen Carboaroa also has parmesan cheese which is found in the buldak seasoning mix and instead of just pepper to spice it we are using the buldak spice pack!

It seems that everyone on Tik tok with a following has tried this recipe! Have you seen it yet? I mean there is all sorts of ways to make it. But one thing is for sure, it starts with 1 package of Buldak Carbonara!

Most people omit the bacon part, but for me it makes it even the more BETTER! And more like a real Italian Carbonara.

HOW SPICY IS BULDAK RAMEN CARBONARA

The red package that comes with it is packed with heat but you can use less of the package according to your taste!

IS CARBONARA RAMEN SPICY

Yes, and the spice comes from the red package in the Buldak Ramen Package.

To make this dish more healthy, I highly recommended to use a low sodium bacon as there is a high salt content already in the Buldak ramen seasoning packages. You can also use less of those packages if desired!

The Havarti cheese really enhances the flavors of this dish however you can use just about any type of cheese for this. Such as Mozzarella, Cheddar etc.

HOW TO MAKE RAMEN CARBOARA

  • Start with the main ingredients a package of Ramen in this case Buldak Carbonara Ramen
  • Havarti cheese or a cheese slice of your liking

  • Pepper

HOW TO COOK RAMEN CARBONARA

  1. Bring a small or medium pot of water to a boil and toss in the dry ramen, save the packets of seasonings.

Spicy Kimchi Recipe

This Spicy Kimchi Recipe takes less than 30 minutes to make. The rest of the time will be spent sitting on your counter fermenting.

Read set, let’s make some Kimchi!

Below is a picture of my Kimchi fermenting on our counter, 30 minutes after making it.

Yup it just takes 30 minutes or less to prepare. The rest of the time it is fermenting and all the work is being done for you. So easy!

Kimchi originated in Korea and is a cabbage dish that packs a punch.

Some people like it spicy while others like it mild. I will provide two variations here for you to try!

However in our house we much prefer the spicy variety. Kimchi is served often as a light side dish to most Korean meals. And can also be added to Potato pancakes and soups which make for a very tasty meal.

WILL KIMCHI EXPIRE

If stored right, it will not go bad. Rather it will become more sour and enhance the flavor. At this point, most people like to use it in other recipes. Such as soups, stews, korean pancakes etc.

I love to use this Kimchi in Ramen soup quiet often and will be sharing that recipe soon here with you all.

HOW KIMCHI FERMENTATION WORKS

Once you have made the Kimchi it will start to produce sugars into acid and gases. This process is the start of the fermentation process.

While it is fermenting it will start to stink as good bacterias enter the environment of the vegetables.

Liquid will naturally occur allowing for the flavors to penetrate all the ingredients.

HOW KIMCHI IS MADE

Kimchi is TRADITIONALLY made with Napa Cabbage, today we used Savoy Cabbage instead.

Both varieties of cabbage will work fine.

So I will leave that option up to your preference.

We also omitted the green onions in this Kimchi because we prefer more Daikon Radishes instead.

You can go ahead and add some green onions to this recipe if you’d prefer.

This recipe makes enough Kimchi to fill 2 jars. One large, medium and small.

You also will want some fresh ginger, garlic and some spices.

Please see the recipe card below for all those ingredients. You will be in KIMCHI heaven in no time!

There are several ways to make Kimchi. And though a lot of people use green cabbage for kimchi we sometimes we like to switch it up and use Savoy cabbage.

To each their own, use whatever you feel like. Both varieties work well for Kimchi.

THE LEVEL OF SPICINESS ALL COMES DOWN TO Personal Preferences.

But one thing is for certain, you want to use KOREAN RED CHILI flakes to spice this dish up. c

WHY KIMCHI IS GOOD FOR YOU

Kimchi has good probiotics in it, which makes for a healthy gut. Also it is packed full of nutrients and vitamins and is a low calorie addition to your diet.
