This Creamy Leek Pasta recipe is a delicious vegetarian dish that is made with penne pasta and is super decadent and makes for a quick dinner that is ready in about 30 minutes.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY LEEK PASTA
Slice your leeks add butter and sauté till soft then add in your garlic, onions and sauté till soft. Add in the remaining ingredients into one pot and simmer.
Toss in your cooked pasta and enjoy!

Creamy Leek Pasta recipe
Rich and delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups dry penne pasta
- 2 Leek stalks, sliced thin
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Powdered mustard
- 2 cups of cream
- 1 cup of vegetable stock
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Start by slicing your leeks, then place them in a a colander and rinse off any mud or dirt then strain
- Next bring a large salted pot of water to a boil and add in your pasta (any pasta works) i used penne.
- Cook till al dente, strain the water out and set aside
- In the same pot or pan add in the butter and leeks, sauté for 5 mins before adding in the minced garlic and chopped onion.
- Sauté everything till soft, then add in the powdered mustard.
- Add in the chicken stock and bring to a medium low heat.
- Simmer for 2 mins then add in the cream, parmesan cheese and pepper.
- Simmer 2 more mins, then toss in the pasta.
- Serve hot
