This easy Ravioli Pasta Sauce recipe contains ricotta cheese and your favorite tomato marinara sauce. Add in some fresh cooked ravioli and this dish can be served in under 30 minutes!

Ravioli Pasta Sauce

The kids loves this recipe and so do we. It is super simple to make and is an easy way to get some vegetables in for those picky toddlers as this pre-made ravioli has spinach already in it. 

Other ingredients you can add to this pasta if desired are as follows:

  • Ground Hamburger or pork, pre-cooked even chicken
  • Spinach, peas, zucchini and mushrooms

HOW TO MAKE RAVIOLI SAUCE

Start with your favorite tomato marinara sauce then simmer that covered anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes

Add in some cottage or ricotta cheese and all your spices

RAVIOLI SAUCE pasta sauce

Ravioli Pasta Sauce

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes

Add parmesan cheese if desired

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of cottage or ricotta cheese
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 package of your favorite Ravioli

Instructions

  1. Start by bringing a medium pan or pot of salted water to a boil Add in the ravioli and stir, cook for 3 minutes and remove and strain.
  2. In the same pot/pan add in the marinara sauce and simmer covered on low for 5 minutes.
  3. Next, add in the cottage or ricotta cheese and all your spices Stir to blend then toss in the cooked ravioli.
  4. Cook on low heat for a couple more minutes and serve topped with parsley

Notes

Serve with your favorite Ravioli pasta

Add parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired
