This Indian Masala Fish Curry is made with red onions and green peppers and is simmered in  a coconut milk spiced sauce. Serve with basmati rice and enjoy!

You want to use a white fish ideally such as haddock, cod, catfish

INDIAN FISH MASALA RECIPE

HOW TO MAKE FISH CURRY

  1. Start by cleaning your fish and then apply light salt and set aside
  2. Next in a large frying pan add cooking oil along with the chopped red onion and green pepper fry till semi soft, next add in the “fish curry powder” and 1 tsp turmeric powder fry till fragrant roughly 2 more mins.
  3. Next add in coconut milk along with the chopped green peppers.
  4. Adding in the fish fillets
  5. Simmer on low – medium heat till the fish is cooked.

1 kg fish feeds 3-4 people

An easy dinner for 2, or double it up to feed four people.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg white fish fillets
  • 50 grams coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 120 grams red onions
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 cup of basmati rice

Instructions

  1. Start by cleaning your fish and then apply light salt and set aside
