Now a days most dog treats are filled with unhealthy ingredients. And really there’s really no benefit to feeding your dog those type of treats. It’s like giving your kids candy all the time and hoping for the best. Because in the end it’s sure to bite you and your pet in the butt. So instead why not make your dog’s treats in the comfort of your home. This way you will know exactly what is going into them.

The Top 5 Indestructible Dog Toys!

Hello friends,

I hope you liked our first post on APPLE, PEANUT BUTTER, & PUMPKIN DOG TREATS, today I’ve got another great post for all you pet lovers out there! Today’s post is on the most durable dog toys that we found in 2017 for strong breed dogs. Bubba has been testing toys for durability and fun factor amongst the “Strongest Breeds of Dogs” over the past year, and has come up with his list for the best toys for “Large Breed Dogs”! Toys were tested for durability, playability and chew~ability…… here are the ones that made the list.

  1. THE JOLLY EGG ~ 12 inch JOLLY EGG, everyone agrees this is one of the BEST toys if you have a large breed dog. Because its virtually indestructible, and gives a great cardio workout. Just make sure you have a medium to large sized yard as this toy moves very fast and goes all over the place. The smaller 8″inch version of the “8 inch JOLLY EGG” is more suitable for medium to smaller breed dogs. However Bubba says the smaller version is strong to just not as much fun.

2. THE LARGE CHUCKIT GLOW BALL ~ The “Large Chuckit! Glow Ball” is virtually indestructible. And has the it factor for glowing (at night) and being super bouncy ball and fun to play with. It also has a forgiving gummy texture which most dogs seem to love. Not to mention its floats in water and is super fun to play with even in the daytime. Charge it up at night under any light source and watch it GLOW with a bright Yellow/Green Color, great for playing in the dark. Even Bubba can’t destroy it, or maybe he just won’t he has 2 large ones and it’s defiantly his favorite ball of all time.

3. The Jolly Ball ~ These balls won’t pop, know matter what you do to them. PLUS they have some give and are excellent toys to have in the backyard. Large breed dogs just love them, because you can carry them around and chew the heck out of them without losing it’s shape. Amazon has them for great prices too, check them here > Tug n Toss Jolly Ball

4. BLACK KONG ~ Next up is the KONG, if your dog is a very strong chewer then Gabe recommends the Black Kong vs the Red which is a little weaker. You can stuff it with treats, peanut butter and even freeze it overnight. Give your buddy something to do when you’re away at work for the day = Excellent Boredom Buster.

5. WEST PAW ~ Last but not least we recommend the whole line of Toys made by West Paw. These toys are virtually indestructible and safe for your dog. Gabe notes that most dogs take personal preference to the West Paw Large Tux Dog Tangerine toy, as you can stuff it with treats, peanut butter etc and the Tough Large Flying Disk as it’s a great way to play with your dog and give him/her some exercise.

So why not rid yourself of that yard full of half chewed toys? And give your furry friend something that will last much longer this year PLUS make them very happy in the long run. Bubba would love to see pictures of your  large breed dog(s) enjoying their favorite TOYS in the comments below. And if you know of any other good toys for “Strong Breed Dogs”? Do let us know, as we would love to test them out and add them to next year’s list.

It’s that time of year, where we wrap up a special gift and give it to those we love. And if you have a pet in the family, then please don’t forget about them on Christmas day. They would not forget you 🙂 Today’s post is for the Top 7 Christmas toys for dogs. Our team has tested out many toys throughout the years for durability, playability and chew~ability…… and have come up with this list below just in time for Christmas.

Wrap it up one of these gifts below for that special day coming up and watch that tag wag with excitement!

  1. Chuckit! Ultra Squeaker Ball, Large. What dog doesn’t like a good ball? Well not all like balls, but most do and this one is definitely a favorite for most. It SQUEAKS and also is soft yet durable. Excellent for playing fetch with and or carrying around when your dog is board.
  2. Outward Hound Kyjen 51004 Fun Feeder Slow Feed Interactive Bloat Stop Dog Bowl, Small, Orange. Does your pet eat too fast? Wrap this present up, and place some treats along with their breakfast inside and let them experience the joy of their new bowl on Christmas day.
  3. If your dog goes through the average ball in minutes, try one of these Chuckit! products. They are soft yet extremely durable, and have passed the one year mark with Bubba our American Bulldog. The clear one glows in the dark and has more give, which most dogs find to be there favorite. Chuckit! Medium Fetch Medley Balls 2.5 inch, 3-Pack is great for small to medium size dogsOr if you have a large breed dog, such as a labrador, mastiff, rottweiler etc it would be better to choose the Chuckit Max Glow Toy Ball for Larger Dogs, X-Large our Labrador and Bulldog prefer this size.

4. Excellent toy for tiny to small dogs. Indie loves her lambchop and just reading the reviews for it should make you smile. MultiPet MU48371 International 843140 Lambchop Plush Squeak Toy Mini for Pets, 6-Inch

6. Kong Wild Knots Squeaker Bears for Dogs, Medium/Large, Colors Vary If you dog is not a hard chewer, this teddy may be his/her favorite snuggy.

Last but not least is the Furbo Dog Camera, this present is for you and your pet. It’s a good tool to have, if you have to leave your pet at home during the day alone. You can check in on your pet and dispense some afternoon  treats with this neat device.

If you are looking for an immediate and inexpensive way to entertain your dog for a bit, try giving him/her a empty water bottle or milk jug. Most dogs love the crunchy effect and will play with that, just make sure the cap is taken off you don’t want that swallowed. And keep an eye on him/her to ensure they’re not cutting their gums.  There is a reason we call them fur babies, right moms?

The next two items are not toys, rather items that can make you and your dog’s life better.

  1. Never bother with the never ending in out again, with this PetSafe Pet Door. Your pet can help him/herself to the bathroom. I think this is a must have for pet owners! Plus if you have a larger dog, than you can cancel the security system subscription. Your dog will happily fill that job 🙂 The PetSafe Plastic Pet Door with Soft Tinted Flap, White, Extra-Large
