Creamy Vegetarian Mushroom rice recipe
This Creamy Vegetarian Mushroom rice recipe is made with uncle ben’s rice which has a combo of parboil rice mixed with wild rice and some seasonings. You just need to add a can of mushroom soup, butter, water and sautéed mushrooms to serve.
This is my go to vegetarian mushroom rice recipe, it can be served as a meal or alongside some other dish if preferred.
It is savory and satisfying! If you want to make it non vegetarian feel free to add in some diced chicken breasts to the cooking process and you will have a great meal also to serve in no time.
UNCLE BEN’S RICE RECIPE
My favorite rice from Uncle Ben’s is the Chicken and WILD rice flavor and that is what i used for this recipe! You can use any kind really, but this is my favorite one.
Your basically preparing the rice per package instruction’s, but adding a bit more water to make it creamy along with a can of mushroom soup. The more water you use the more creamy it will be, oh and don’t omit the butter it makes it extra creamy.
While the rice cooks, sauté your mushrooms too in butter on the side to serve. You can mix the mushrooms in the rice at the end or serve onto for a pretty presentation.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY VEGETARIAN MUSHROOM RICE RECIPE
- Start by adding Uncle Ben’s rice to a pot of water
- Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 min before lowering to medium heat
- Add in a can of mushroom soup and 1 tbsp of butter then stir
- Add more water as necessary during the cooking process
- Meanwhile, sauté the mushrooms in 1 tbsp of butter
- Once the mushrooms have browned, set aside
- Serve the cooked rice with the mushrooms onto
- Enjoy!

- 1 cup of uncle bens rice
- 1 can of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup of cream
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 2 cups of mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Start by adding Uncle Ben's rice to a pot of water
