The Great Canadian Lumberjack Pasta Bake

This recipe is part of our Great Canadian Series

The Great Canadian Lumberjack Pasta Bake

This rich and hearty pasta bake is loaded with:

  • smoky sausage
  • crispy bacon
  • creamy beer cheese sauce
  • sharp cheddar
  • baked pasta
  • cozy Canadian pub-style flavor

Every bite is creamy, cheesy, smoky, and unbelievably comforting.

Inspired by rustic Canadian lodge cooking and hearty lumberjack meals, this recipe was created to feel warm, filling, approachable, and absolutely crave-worthy. It’s the kind of dinner you make on a cold winter night, at the cottage after a long day outdoors, or anytime you simply want a big comforting meal the whole family will love.

What makes this recipe especially unique is the creamy Canadian beer cheese sauce. The beer adds rich savory depth while the cheddar melts into the most velvety, silky sauce that coats every bite of pasta perfectly.

And don’t worry — the alcohol cooks down while baking, leaving behind incredible flavor without overpowering the dish.

The best part?
This recipe is surprisingly easy to make and uses simple ingredients that come together into something that feels restaurant-worthy while still being realistic for busy weeknight dinners.
