How to Cook Cod
Cod can be baked, grilled or oven pan seared. It is a light fish that cooks in no time and is best seasoned well prior to cooking and sautéed in allot of butter, garlic and herbs. Splashing it with lemon too really enhances the whole fish and makes for a memorable dish.

Simple Lemon Garlic Butter Cod recipe
- On a small plate season season your fish with lemon pepper and garlic powder.
- Then in a large skillet add 1 tbsp of butter and sauté the garlic till slightly browned then remove and set aside. In the same skillet add 1 tbsp olive oil and the remaining 2 tbsp of butter.
- Add the cod once the butter is melted and sauté over medium heat on both sides 3-4 minutes. Remove the fish and set aside
- In the same pan, add 4 tbsp of chicken stock and fresh squeezed lemon juice along with fresh thyme.
- Place the cod back in a simmer on low heat a few more minutes to serve.
- Serve and enjoy!

- 3 cod fillets, skinless, about 1-inch thick
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp chicken stock
- 1 tbsp garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp garlic, powder
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
