WHAT POTATOES TO SERVE WITH SAUSAGE CASSROLE

Really it is up to you, both white and red work. Just be sure to peel the fully before slicing them.

You can also use mini potatoes if you have on hand.

WHY ARE SAUSAGES SO GOOD

Well it depends on the sausages, I HIGHLY recommend using ZESTY ITALIAN sausages or HOT SAUSAGES that come from your local meat market.

Buying store bought sausages are just not as good as from your local meat market. And that is because those tend to be salt ridden and less dense.

Your local meat market is where you want to find the best sausages. Those are the type I use for this recipe “always”.

Recipe Tip: It is important to use cooking oil as that helps the tomatoes to cook well into the stew along with butter for the potatoes.
