Old Fashioned Tuna Pasta salad

You may also like this BLT pasta salad too!

My Old fashioned tuna pasta salad is a classic macaroni pasta dish that has been served cold for ages and works well alongside any type of summer main course.

This is exactly how I like to have an old fashioned pasta salad! Typically eggs are used in here and celery other than that the rest of the ingredients remain the same old fashioned type.

So instead of eggs I use tuna and instead of celery I use cucumber and peas. To each there own you can make this salad just as you like.

But if your into trying this version I promise you are in for a tasty tuna pasta salad.

HOW TO MAKE TUNA PASTA SALAD

I highly recommend using a low sodium tuna brand that is suitability sourced if possible. Makes for the best tuna salad in my opinion. Next you want a creamy consistency which comes from the mayo. And crunch which comes from the onions and cucumber and peas! Then a well cooked but not over done macaroni and the dish comes together perfectly!

WHAT IS IN A TUNA PASTA SALAD

  • Macaroni Pasta
  • Tuna
  • Mayo
  • Onions, cucumbers and peas
  • Mustard and other seasonings

Doesn’t get more simple and savory than this!
