Marry Me Chicken Ravioli Pasta
This Marry Me Chicken Ravioli Pasta recipe is the best way to make this type of dish in my opinion. And it comes in a creamy sun-dried tomato, onion, garlic, spinach sauce. It’s also a super easy weeknight meal that comes together in under 30 minutes!

Have you tried Marry Me Chicken Yet? If not you are in for something tasty! The recipe is pretty much a TIK TOK famous dish now. However, it started off with just chicken breasts.
Then it has taken on a whole jonra of it’s own and can be made into a soup, pasta dish as well.
WHAT DOES MARRY ME CHICKEN PASTA TASTE LIKE
It tastes a lot like Tuscan Chicken which is a Sicilian Italian dish. Which has seasoned chicken cooked in a creamy chicken cream broth along with spinach or basil and sun dried tomatoes or fresh baby tomatoes and of course parmesan cheese and lemons.
There is different variations to this recipe as well. For instance some people add tomato paste and basil, where my recipe omits the paste and uses just sun dried tomatoes and spinach only. This is how I like to prepare this dish but if you want a more authentic marry me chicken simply add some tomato paste and basil as well.
MARRY ME CHICKEN VS TUSCAN CHICKEN
The only difference between these two popular dishes is that Marry Me Chicken uses “Red Pepper Flakes” and some “Tomato paste” . I typically omit both as I much prefer the sun-dried tomatoes and chicken / cream / parmesan flavors to dominate the dish.
HOW TO MAKE MARRY ME CHICKEN PASTA SAUCE
- To make this recipe, you will want to make the sauce first then add the pasta last!
- In order to make the sauce you will want to start with seasoned chicken pieces or breasts which ever you prefer.
- Dice the chicken before cooking!
- Sauté the pieces in some butter/olive oil till well cooked
- Shred the chicken with a fork then set aside
- Once cooked add in more butter and sauté the onions, garlic till translucent
- Then only adding in the chicken stock, cream and parmesan cheese
- Lastly add in the spinach and sun dried tomatoes and cook on low-medium heat “COVERED” for 5 minutes before adding in the ravioli
- Cover that and simmer on low-medium heat for 3 minutes till the ravioli is cooked
- Squeeze some fresh lemon juice over and more parmesan if desired and enjoy!
NOTE: If you want more of a sauce to this pasta, simply add more heavy cream! But keep in mind there is sauce in this dish it just is hiding beneath the bed of ravioli here.
You can make this recipe with fresh or frozen spinach. Both work well, I prefer frozen in which I will pre-cook and strain out all the liquid prior to adding it to this recipe. Also, some people like to add tomato paste to this dish. I prefer not, as i find the sun-dried tomatoes give the best tomato flavor and the dish is really highlighted more by the creamy chicken cheese sauce instead.
This is one of my current favorite ways to have this Marry Me Chicken Pasta, I hope you give it a try!
