Japanese Beef Udon Soup recipe

HOW TO MAKE UDON SOUP STOCK
You can make it from scratch like the Japanese do or you can take the easier route and pre-purchase the same ingredients all in a tea bag and make it this way! You can search the item name below on AMAZON and have this delivered to your home.

I much prefer to use the Japanese Umami Dashi soup stock mix as it allows me a to produce an authentic stock in minutes vs hours.
HOW TO MAKE BEEF UDON NOODLE SOUP
- In a large pot sauté the ground beef until browned
- Remove the ground beef and set aside
- Add in the water and scrape the pot to get some of the beef flavor into the water
- Add in 1 Dashi – Umami Powder Soup Stock sachet Simmer on medium heat for 3-4 minutes then discard the sachet
- Add in the bok choy, sesame oil, soya sauce and udon noodles
- Simmer over medium heat till the noodles are cooked
- Laddle into a bowl
- And top with the cooked beef
- Enjoy!

- 200 grams ground beef
- 1 package of udon noodles
- 3 cups of water
- 1 sachet Dashi - Umami Powder Soup Stock
- 1 cup of diced bok choy
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp soya sauce
Instructions
- In a large pot sauté the ground beef until browned
- Remove the ground beef and set aside
- Add in the water and scrape the pot to get some of the beef flavor into the water
