HOW TO MAKE JAMAICAN CABBAGE
There is 3 main steps
- Step 1, slice your carrots, yellow pepper, green onions, scotch bonnet pepper, white onions and cabbage.
- Mince the garlic and in a large frying pan start by cooking down the onions till soft, add in the sliced carrots and sauté for a couple mins before adding in the minced garlic and sauté for 1 min.
- Add in the cabbage last, turn the heat down to low and steam the cabbage with the lid on for 5 mins. Then give the pot a good stir and steam for 2 more mins. Season with salt and pepper to serve.

Jamaican Cabbage Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 3 cups of shredded cabbage
- 1 sliced yellow pepper
- 2 carrots, sliced thin
- 2 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 scotch bonnet pepper, diced with the seeds removed
- salt and pepper to taste
