This delicious Italian Ham Pea Cheese Pasta Salad is always a hit. With the combination of the sweet ham and sweet peas along with cheddar cheese and tangy Italian dressing make for the perfect cold pasta salad that uses leftover ham.

WHAT IS IN AN ITALIAN HAM PEA PASTA SALAD

  • Leftover Ham
  • Frozen Peas
  • Mixed Italian Cheese
  • Italian dressing and seasonings
  • Macaroni
Cold Italian Ham Pea Pasta Salad

HOW TO MAKE AN ITALIAN HAM PEA PASTA SALAD

  • Start by brining a pot of lightly salted water to a boil
  • Add in the dry macaroni and stir to ensure it doesn’t stick Cook till el dente and immediately run under cold water and strain to stop the cooking process
  • Meanwhile, chop your cooked ham
  • Place the ham in a large bowl and once the macaroni pasta has cooled completely add that in. Toss in the shredded Italian cheeses along with the frozen peas
  • Add in the Italian seasoning and dressing and toss well to combine
  • Store in the fridge to chill prior to serving
  • Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups dry macaroni
  • 1 cup chopped cooked ham
  • 3 cups frozen peas
  • 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing (of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Start by brining a pot of lightly salted water to a boil
