HOW TO MAKE AIR FRYER DRY RUB RIBS

1. Prep the ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for maximum tenderness. Pat dry thoroughly.


Season

Rub ribs with olive oil, then coat generously with the dry rub. Press the seasoning into the meat.

👉 For best flavor, let sit for 10–20 minutes (or overnight in the fridge).


Air fry

Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
Place ribs in a single layer and cook for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Increase temperature to 400°F (204°C) and cook for an additional 3–5 minutes until edges are crispy and caramelized.


Rest and serve

Ingredients

  • DRY RUB INGREDIENTS (PERFECT BALANCE)
  • 1 rack pork ribs (baby back or side ribs, cut into sections)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Dry Rub
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dry mustard (secret flavor boost 🔥)
  • ¼ tsp cayenne (optional for heat)

Instructions

    1️⃣ Prep the ribs

  • Remove membrane from the back (important for tenderness)
  • Pat ribs dry with paper towel

2️⃣ Season

  • Rub ribs with olive oil
  • Coat generously with dry rub (press it in well)

Let sit for 10–20 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor)

3️⃣ Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C)
  • Place ribs in basket (don’t overcrowd)
  • Cook for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway

4️⃣ Crisp them up (KEY STEP 🔥)

  • Increase temp to 400°F (204°C)
  • Cook another 3–5 minutes
  • This creates that crispy, caramelized crust

5️⃣ Rest
