How To Make High Protein Tuna Salad without Mayo

  • You will want to start with a high quality sustainable can of tune
  • Open and strain out all the liquid, if you have cat’s give them a little treat 🙂
  • Then place the tuna into a large bowl
  • Add in the cottage cheese, yogurt and mustard into the bowl
  • Diced up the celery and cucumber and season well
  • Toss and serve as is or with crackers or over toasted toast!

High Protein Tuna Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1 celery stalk, diced fine
  • 1/4 cucumber diced fine,
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by staining all the liquid out of the can of tuna and place in a large bowl
  2. Add in the cottage cheese, yogurt and mustard into the bowl
  3. Diced up the celery and cucumber and season well
  4. Toss and serve as is or with crackers or over toasted toast!
