CAN I FREEZE HAMBURGER PEROGIE SOUP
Yes, simply place in a sealable contactor and this will store up to 3 months in the freezer.
How to make this Hamburger Pierogi Soup more thick or thin
- Simply you will want to add more or less cream than beef stock!
- Pretty easy huh! Both methods are just as good, so I made this soup right in the middle.
How to make Hamburger Pierogi Soup
This really is a one pot soup recipe! Which will make your kitchen time less what it may take to make all these ingredients separately.
- You will want to start with a Dutch oven and sauté the ground beef first till browned
- Once browned, remove and set aside
- Add 1 tbsp butter to the Dutch oven, then the diced onion.
- Sauté the onion till translucent then add in the minced garlic and sauté till fragrant
- Toss back the hamburger and all your seasonings and sauté a bit more
- Then pour in the beef stock, and heavy cream. Simmer on medium – low heat for a few minutes before adding in the perogies (frozen is fine) or fresh!
- Add in the perogies and simmer covered, string occasional till the perogies are soft and cooked.
- Serve with fresh sour cream and enjoy!
