HOW TO MAKE SMOOTHERED SLOW COOKER TURKEY LEGS

Simple, pre-purchase a package of your favorite turkey gravy as seen below

Stovetop GRAVY:

  • Whisk gravy mix and 1 1/4 cups water in small saucepan.
  • Bring to boil, add in all your herbs and stir frequently.
  • Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 3 minutes
  • Add in the butter to melt

HOW TO MAKE SMOOTHERED TURKEY LEGS / DRUMSTICKS

  • Once the gravy is made
  • Place the drumsticks into the bottom of the slow cooker
  • Pour over the gravy
  • Add 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • Cover and slow cook on low – medium for 8 hours or high for 5 or till the turkey is fall off the bone tender

Ingredients

  • 1 package of turkey seasoning
  • 2 turkey legs
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • HERBS
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 thyme
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk gravy mix and 1 1/4 cups water in small saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil, add in all your herbs and stir frequently.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 3 minutes
  4. Add in the butter to melt

  6. Season the drumsticks with salt and place the drumsticks into the bottom of the slow cooker
  7. Pour over the gravy
  8. Add 1/4 cup of chicken stock
