Crispy Hot Honey Lobster Crunch Rolls

Why This Lobster Roll So Good

Unlike a traditional cold lobster roll or classic hot buttered lobster roll, this version adds:

  • hot honey butter
  • crispy shallots
  • crunchy kettle chips
  • lemon-chive aioli
  • fresh herbs
  • texture in every bite

How To Make Crispy Hot Honey Lobster Crunch Rolls

Step 1: Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper.

Refrigerate until ready to use.


Step 2: Toast the Buns

Butter the outsides of the buns.

Toast in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and crispy.


Step 3: Warm the Lobster

In a skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter.

Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Stir in the lobster meat, hot honey, smoked paprika, lemon zest, parsley, and chives.

Cook gently for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.

Do not overcook.


Step 4: Assemble the Lobster Rolls

Spread lemon-chive sauce inside each toasted bun.

Fill with warm lobster mixture.

Top with crispy fried shallots and crushed kettle chips.

Finish with extra chives and a light drizzle of hot honey.

Serve immediately.


Tips For The BEST Lobster Rolls

  • Use brioche buns for extra richness
  • Don’t overcook the lobster or it becomes rubbery
  • Add the crunchy toppings right before serving
  • Use kettle chips for maximum crunch
  • A little hot honey goes a long way

Storage

The lobster mixture is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

  • 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
