Creamy Tomato Scallop Pasta

Creamy Tomato Scallop Pasta

Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Diltalti Pasta
  • 2 1/2 cups of passata sauce
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 2 cups bay scallops
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasonings
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp Parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large pot bring some salted water to a boil
  2. Add in the Ditalti pasta and simmer over medium heat till tender
  3. Strain in cold water to stop the cooking process and set aside (save 1/4 cup of the pasta water)
  4. Meanwhile, in a large pan add olive oil and butter
  5. Toss in the defrosted or fresh scallops and sauté till lightly browned
  6. Toss in the fresh minced garlic and brown together
  7. Toss in all the seasonings and toss to combine
  8. Add in the pasta along with 1/4 cup pasta water
  9. Heat throughout and serve
