Creamy Lemon Swiss Chard Pasta

I used garden fresh Swiss chard for this Creamy Lemon Swiss Chard Pasta dish. However, most store bought are just as good!

You can always add spinach in replace of Swiss chard desired, I choose swiss chard as I love the color and flavor much more.

HOW TO MAKE CREAMY LEMON SWISS CHARD PASTA

  • Start by washing the Swiss chard and chop into bite size piecesMince the garlic and set aside
  • Meanwhile, bring a salted pot of water to a boil
  • Add in the fettuccini and cook till al dente Strain immediately and rinse with water and strain again before setting aside Then in a large sauce pan, add the butter, olive oil and minced garlic
  • SautĂ© the garlic till fragrant and toss in the Swiss chard and stock
  • Simmer on low heat till wilted then add in the cream, cheese and melt before adding in the cooked pasta
  • Toss to coat and toss in the parmesan cheese
  • Turn off the heat and add in the lemon pepper and lemon juice
  • SERVE immediately with more parmesan cheese if desired

Ingredients

  • 25O Grams of Fettuccini pasta
  • 3 cups chopped Swiss chard
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Italian cheese mix
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • Pinch lemon pepper
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
