Creamy Italian Cannellini Beans recipe
This Creamy Italian Cannellini Beans recipe is super easy to make as it uses canned beans and is an inexpensive comforting meal option that is easy to make as it is ready in 30 minutes!
These Cannellini beans would serve very well along side some Lamb Chops.
What i love most about these Creamy Cannellini beans is that they are packed full of protein and nutrience and are super healthy.
And the longer you simmer the beans, the softer and creamier they become! You can also use a potato masher to make them as creamy as you’d like.
What to serve with Creamy Cannellini Beans
- Crusty bread or a hard bread of your liking
- White Fish such as cod, halibut or tilapia
- Canned Sardines
- Lamb or Beef
EASY CREAMY CANNELLINI BEANS RECIPE
- Start by emptying the canned beans into a strainer and rinse them well then set aside
- Meanwhile, in your pan add 1 tbsp of olive oil and 2 tbsp butter
- Sauté the finely diced onion till translucent then add in the minced garlic
- Sauté till fragrant roughly another 2 minutes then whisk in the chicken stock, seasonings
- Add back in the strained beans and cover with a lid and simmer on medium-low heat for 10 minutes
- Remove the heat and add 1/2 cup heavy cream and parmesan cheese and white pepper to taste
- Simmer uncovered on low heat for a few minutes then remove from the heat
- Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 590 ml of Cannellini beans (White Kidney Beans)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup of chicken stock
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Italian seasonings
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
