Chinese Pork Pepper stir fry

You can also add colored peppers to this Chinese Pork Pepper stir fry if desired. Keep in mind though that colored peppers tend to be on the sweet side so it will give another flavor.

Since I used oyster sauce in the sauce mixture it already has a sweet element to it. So, depending on your personal taste you can add sweet peppers or keep them green as I prefer for this dish.

Keep in mind this dish is very versatile you can add beef or shrimp to this also or instead of chicken.

HOW TO MAKE CHINESE PORK STIR FRY SAUCE

Start by making the sauce then prepare the remaining ingredients to be all cooked together in your wok or frying pan 

  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • Oyster Sauce
  • Soya Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Chili Peppers

OPTIONAL

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes instead of chili peppers

Chinese Pork Pepper stir fry

Total Time: 20 minutes

Skip the takeout tonight!

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless pork chops
  • 2 large bell peppers
  • SAUCE
  • 1/2 cup Chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 Chili Peppers, seeded

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing your boneless pork chops and set aside
  2. Do the same for the green bell peppers
  3. Then in a large skillet add 1 tbsp of sesame oil and over medium-heat fry the pork chops till browned and no longer pink then set aside
  4. In the same pan add 1 more tbsp of sesame oil and sauté the green peppers over medium - heat till soft
  5. Toss in the green peppers, chili peppers and green onions along with the remaining sesame oil and sauce ingredients
  6. Simmer on medium-low heat for 5 minutes and serve with rice if desired

Notes

Be sure to remove the seeds from the chili peppers
