Cheesy Velveeta Ground Beef Pasta

Cheesy Velveeta Ground Beef Pasta

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Ditalini pasta
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta shells according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef
    In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and diced onion. Cook until beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Add Garlic and Seasoning
    Stir in minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Make the Cheese Sauce
    Lower heat to medium-low. Add butter, milk, and beef broth. Stir well, then add cubed Velveeta. Stir constantly until melted and smooth.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce
    Add cooked pasta shells into the skillet. Stir until pasta is fully coated in the cheesy beef sauce.
  6. Add Optional Veggies
    If using vegetables, stir them in now and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender.
  7. Serve
    Remove from heat and serve hot. Optional: top with parsley, extra cheese, or cracked pepper.
