Canadian Maritime Lobster Salad

Lobster Salad

  • 4 cups cooked lobster meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 celery stalks, finely diced
  • ½ cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Creamy Lemon Dill Dressing

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Optional For Serving

  • Toasted lobster roll buns
  • Butter lettuce
  • Lemon wedges
  • Fresh dill garnish
  • Crackers or crostini

Directions

Step 1: Prepare The Dressing

In a large mixing bowl whisk together:

  • mayonnaise
  • sour cream
  • lemon juice
  • lemon zest
  • Dijon mustard
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Mix until smooth and creamy.


Step 2: Prepare The Vegetables

Finely dice:

  • celery
  • red onion

Chop:

  • chives
  • dill
  • parsley

Add everything to the dressing.


Step 3: Add The Lobster
