BEST LOBSTER BUTTER SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 454 grams Lobster Claws / Knuckles
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp old bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp chives
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Start by deshelling the meat from the claws, using either the back of a knife to crack the shells or lobster crackers.
  2. Then place the shells into a large frying pan and add 4 tbsp water to steam them making sure there is some water left before removing them to discard.
  3. Once discarded add the butter, olive oil to the pan along with minced garlic, onion powder, dill seasoning, chives and old bay seasonings and simmer on low heat.
  4. Add in the chopped lobster claw meat and saute covered for 3 mins till hot.
  5. Remove from the heat and squeeze 1 tsp lemon juice into the sauce.
  6. Serve with pasta or crusty bread.
