Best Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp Dish

If your making something on the side such as a vegetable or pasta. You will want to cook that before hand, then you can just toss this dish into that and make it a pasta meal if desired.

Otherwise, this Garlicky Lemon Butter shrimp is just as good on it’s own.

This recipe is perfect for the garlic butter loving seafood fanatic’s out here. My dish made with plenty of minced garlic, succulent shrimp, chicken stock, butter, lemon and a few simple spices.

Also, note depening on your families taste preferences. You can omit the chicken stock for white wine if desired. Just be sure to cook the white wine down for several minutes prior to serving.

HOW TO MAKE THE BEST LEMON GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP DISH

  • You can use just about any type of shrimp for this recipe.
  • Then in a large skillet, add your butter and minced garlic
  • Sauté for a few minutes over medium heat till translucent and fragrant
  • Toss in the shrimp at this point and sauté on all sides till near cooked but not fully
  • Add in the chicken stock, Italian seasonings, lemon pepper and lemon juice and reduce the heat to low
  • Simmer on low for a few minutes to serve

You can serve this over a bed of pasta or with crusty bread for dipping or even over rice. This dish also serves well alongside a vegetable of your liking!

Best Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp Dish

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of raw, unpeeled shrimp
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 2 shallots, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Pinch lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 lemon squeeze into the sauce

Instructions

  1. You can use just about any type of shrimp for this recipe. Small, medium or large just make sure it is raw shrimp vs cooked.
  2. Then in a large skillet, add your butter shallots and minced garlic
  3. Sauté for a few minutes over medium heat till translucent and fragrant
  4. Toss in the shrimp at this point and sauté on all sides till near cooked but not fully
  5. Add in the chicken stock, Italian seasonings, lemon pepper and reduce the heat to low.
  6. Simmer on low for a few minutes till it is hot
  7. Then turn off the heat and squeeze in the juice from half a lemon
  8. Serve and enjoy!
