Authentic Oven Baked Jerk Chicken

HOW TO JERK CHICKEN

You want to marinade the chicken first and I have found the best way to do that is to pat your chicken pieces dry and marinade them with a wet jerk seasoning rub such as the one listed here JERK SAUCE

Jerk sauce

Then you want to bake the chicken in a oven safe dish where the chicken produces it’s own jerk sauce that is super delicious. From there you can save the sauce with the chicken and or broil the chicken if desired afterward for a more dry chicken and serve the sauce alongside.

HOW TO COOK JERK CHICKEN IN THE OVEN

  • It is super simple, wash and pat dry your chicken
  • Place in the GRACE bag and add your seasonings
  • Seal the bag with a knot and place sideways in a baking dish
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 f for 1 hour
  • Remove the bag, strain the sauce or keep if your serving the chicken more wet.
  • If you want a more dry JERK CHICKEN, simply strain the sauce and save for the rice
