What is in Argentinian Chimichurri
There are several variations some have more olive oil and less greens while others have a mix of greens. Such as parsley and cilantro and oregano. I like my sauce more on the thick side vs clear. In order to have that you simply add more greens to the recipe vs oil. Then there is also fresh garlic, red wine, red chili flakes.
Argentinians are know for their meat. They grill meat all day everyday and cook with beef the most. So they know what works and doesn’t when it comes to serving a steak!
When it comes to their sauces they know what goes well with a steak and this is that very recipe. An Argentinian classic steak served with fresh Chimichurri sauce that is unforgettable.
I like to serve this steak with a baked potato and roasted garlic on the side.
