Nothing else is needed, yes you can add cheese or almost any pepper but why? This is a salad that is just good done simple as it packs allot of flavor! But make sure you add lots of cilantro it really kicks this salad into full gear.

It is a salad that consist of 3 cooked / soft beans that is mixed with a dressing of your choice and the addition of vegetables.

You can use whatever you have on hand

  • Chickpeas / Garbanzo
  • Black Beans
  • Pinto Beans

What i love about this recipe most is it is so healthy and packed full of nutrition. Enough to make someone consider becoming a vegetarian or vegan.

I know that every time I make it and have it, i defiantly could.

CAN 3 BEAN SALAD BE FROZEN

I do not recommend freezing fresh cilantro or tomatoes, however you can freeze the beans. Just make sure they are in an airtight bag or container.

Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Healthy inexpensive and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 can of 540 ml black beans
  • 1/2 can of 540 ml pinto beans
  • 1/2 can of 540 ml chickpeas
  • 1 bunch of cilantro
  • 1/2 cup of Italian seasoning
  • Pinch pepper

Instructions

  1. Rince all 3 beans from the cans in a colander
  2. Place in a large bowl
  3. Add in your diced large tomatoes
  4. Add in your chopped cilantro
  5. Pour in the Italian dressing
  6. Mix, place in the fridge for at least 30 mins
  7. Serve cold and enjoy!

Notes

You can freeze the remaining beans and use in a chili or if you want to serve more people use all 3 cans just adding more cilantro, dressing and tomatoes.
