This Sloppy Joe Soup recipe is packed full of flavor and super easy to make! It’s the ultimate comfort food that the whole family is sure to enjoy!

Sloppy Joe Soup Recipe

Traditional sloppy joes are served on buns but for Sloppy Joe soup, I suggest bread instead! This soup is great because you can throw in extra veggies if you want such as green peppers, corn or even kidney beans.

Personally, I like this soup to have just a few simple ingredients such as lean ground beef, beef stock, finely diced onions, mashed potatoes, tomatoes, and a few simple seasonings.

ARE SLOPPY JOES SWEET

Most are, however if you want a little heat do not skimp on the MUSTARD and be sure to add in some more cayenne pepper.

Traditionally, tomatoes, ketchup, ground beef, brown sugar, mustard, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper.

WHAT IS SLOOPY JOE SOUP MADE OF

The same things as regular sloppy joes as you see above. However to make it a soup, your simply adding in 4 cups of beef stock to the recipe.

WHAT GOES GOOD WITH SLOPPY JOES

Bread of course! Crusty bread is best and add some garlic powder and lots of butter to that toast and your in business. Traditional sloppy joes are served on buns but for the soup, I suggest bread instead!
