Be sure to add cooking oil to the tomatoes it really helps to fry them and cook them well.
Also do not skimp on the butter in this recipe that really also helps the potatoes become extra delicious!
WHY ARE SAUSAGES SO GOOD
Well it depends on the sausages, I HIGHLY recommend using ZESTY ITALIAN sausages or HOT SAUSAGES that come from your local meat market.
Buying store bought sausages are just not as good as from your local meat market. And that is because
because those tend to be salt ridden and less dense.
Your local meat market is where you want to find the best sausages. Those are the type I use for this recipe “always”.
WHAT POTATOES TO SERVE WITH SAUSAGE CASSROLE
Really it is up to you, both white and red work. Just be sure to peel the fully before dicing them.
You can also use mini potatoes if you have on hand.
CAN YOU PUT POTATOES IN A SAUSAGE CASSROLE
Heck yes, that is exactly what this recipe does.
