These Instant Pot Honey Glazed Carrots are easy to make and are sauteed in a buttery, honey glaze and serve as a great side dish to just about any meal.

Think large family gatherings like, Christmas and Thanksgiving for this amazing side dish too. 

I like to serve these carrots with fresh dill, however you can also use parsley or thyme if desired.

These carrots are always a hit in our house, even the kids love them!

HOW TO COOK CARROTS IN THE INSTANT POT

  • You simply will want to peel those carrots.

  • Then wash and slice diagonally as seen below.

  • Before tossing in your instant pot with 1 cup of water to cook for 2- 4 minutes on high pressure. Depending on the size of the carrots you have sliced. Thinner require less time of course!
  • Once they have cooked, you will add your honey glaze, butter and seasonings to serve. 

How to cook carrots in the instant pot

Don’t want to peel the carrots? That is okay too,  just simply scrub and wash them prior to slicing.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of carrots or 10, sliced
  • 3 tbsp of butter
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. You simply will want to peel those carrots.
  2. Then wash and slice diagonally.

  4. Once they have cooked, you will add your honey glaze, butter and seasonings to serve. 

Notes

Stove top method: 

  • Bring a pot of water to a rapid boil.
  • Meanwhile, peel the carrots and sliced diagonally.
  • Place into the pot, reduce the heat to medium and cook till tender.
  • Strain, add back to the stove on low heat.
  • Add the butter, honey and seasonings. Toss before serving with fresh dill.
