This Instant Kimchi Ramen Noodles recipe is my favorite quick ramen recipe! It is made with Nongshim ramen and real Kimchi is served ontop along with green onions. It is simple and so satisfying!
I crave this recipe often, I have it always in the house and sometimes will add an egg to it for added protein. But really it is so good just as I have made it here.
So I had to share it, in case someone out there loves Kimchi as much as me. This dish sure hits the spot for that craving!
WHERE KIMCHI ORIGINATED
Korea and I highly recommend finding a Korean Kimchi brand vs Chinese as it is less fishy in my option and tastes better.
But to each there own! I HOPE you give this recipe a try it is so good!
What is Kimchi
It is fermented cabbage that can be very spicy, mild or not at all either. Its best to test brands and find the brand you like most.
The brand I like most is seen below (found it at Walmart) it is my go too! You can also find Nongshim ramen there as well 🙂

Other ingredients you can serve in this dish
- Hard boiled eggs
- Soft boiled eggs
- Any green veggie you can think of basically works, I like bok choy or any leafy green the most

Ingredients
- 1 package of Nongshim Kimchi Ramen
- 1/2 cup of Kimchi
- 1 green onion diced
Instructions
- Cook the ramen according to package instructions
- Serve with fresh Kimchi and green onions
Notes
You can also add kimchi juice during the cooking process for more intense flavor
