This Ground Beef Gnocchi is simmered in a light cream sauce that is made of water, sour cream, canned tomatoes, cheddar cheese and spices. Then its served with a hint of fresh parmesan cheese onto.
Do make sure you are using a good quality Italian seasoning for this dish as it makes all the difference.
This recipe is also kid approved as it is my toddlers favorite recipe at the moment. So if your serving this to your toddler and want to sneak in some vegetables, fresh baby peas go very well in this dish also.

WHAT IS BEEF GNOCCHI
It is an Italian dish that is made with ground beef
HOW TO MAKE BEEF GNOCCHI
- Start by collecting all your ingredients that being of ground beef, gnocchi, cheddar cheese, sour cream, water, canned tomatoes, Italian seasoning, pepper, parsley and fresh parmesan cheese.
- Then in a large saucepan saute the ground beef till browned, add in the minced garlic and saute till fragrant ruffly one minute.
- Before adding in the canned tomatoes and make sure they are either chopped or chopped well before adding in the sour cream, water and cheese.
- Simmer on low for 5 minutes before adding in the gnocchi and seasonings.
- Simmer on medium – low heat for 10 minutes and serve topped with parsley and fresh parmesan cheese.

Ground Beef and Gnocchi
Ingredients
- 300 grams of ground beef
- 500 grams of gnocchi
- 1/2 of a can 500 ml diced tomatoes
- 3 cloves of fresh minced garlic
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
