  • First make sure you are wearing gloves before handing the scotch bonnet peppers.

Blend all the peppers, onion, garlic, vinegar, pineapple, lime juice together.

Then place the scotch bonnet pepper sauce into sterilized containers to use anytime you want.

Green Scotch Bonnet Hot Sauce Recipe

Serve over Chicken, Pork or any dish to spice it up!!

Ingredients

  • 10 GREEN Scotch bonnet peppers
  • 5 Red & Yellow Scotch bonnet peppers
  • 1/2 cup of Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 slices of pineapple, diced
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 lime, juice
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of Cilantro
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Wearing gloves, take off the butt of each Scotch Bonnet pepper and toss with the stem.
  2. Place the peppers in the blender along with all the fresh ingredients and blend till smooth
  3. Place into sterilized glass jars.

Notes

The vinegar helps to keep this sauce for up to 3 months in the fridge.
