One of my favorite ice creams is defiantly chocolate ice cream, I’m one of those people that just can’t have enough chocolate.

So whenever a craving hits, there I am searching frantically for anything chocolate. Then my rule of thumb “everything in moderation” goes right out the window.

Here is my favorite recipe for homemade chocolate ice cream, it’s simple and not over the top.

My modest bowl of Chocolate Ice Cream, ha!

Hits the spot every time and is so cool so creamy that your sure to like it also. So instead of hitting up some drive thru or store when that chocolate craving hits, why not make this and store it in your freezer so you will be well prepared.

Recipe notes: Make certain you are using a good cocoa powder, if its old don’t use it because cocoa powder loses its potency over time and your ice cream won’t be as good.
