It’s almost cherry season again and I can hardly wait to make my Cherry Red Wine Slushies. This is by far my favorite time of year, because the farmers markets are soon to be bursting at the seams with fresh fruit.

And this is about the time that I will stock up on all those seasonal fruits so that I can make all kinds of things. I also like to freeze as many fruits also, so that I can enjoy throughout the year.

I like to enjoy this drink on the weekends, it’s refreshing and very good for you too. Did you know that one cherry has 3 grams of fiber, which aids in digestion, lowers cholesterol, controls blood sugar and can help with weight loss.

Also cherries are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, protein and iron so eating these often is a smart thing to do. So why not pair them with some red wine too?

I drink wine because the doctor said that i should keep things bottled up!

Red wine, which has flavonoids in it has  proven to be heart healthy so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The type of red wine you use is all about personal preference, so please go ahead and experiment with your favorites.

Note: Wanting to use fresh cherries vs frozen? Just add more ice cubes.

I used some of the wine gifted to me to make these Cherry Red Wine Slushies.  You can use whatever your favorite red wine is to make these bad boys, just make sure it s pretty good quality.  These slushies are so refreshing and would be great to share with friends at a get-together!  Pouring some glasses of plain red wine is good and all, but wine SLUSHIES are where it s at. I added the frozen cherries to give it that perfect slushie consistency (and because Mr. Wishes is basically obsessed with cherries you can feel free to use any frozen fruit that you may like better).  These are a must try!

I just want to tell you that I am just beginner to blogging and certainly loved your web blog. More than likely I’m want to bookmark your blog post . You really come with impressive article content. Kudos for sharing with us your web-site.

Hi! I could have sworn I’ve been to this site before but after looking at some of the posts I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m certainly delighted I discovered it and I’ll be bookmarking it and checking back frequently.

I’ve observed that in the world the present moment, video games include the latest fad with children of all ages. Many times it may be unattainable to drag your son or daughter away from the games. If you want the best of both worlds, there are several educational games for kids. Thanks for your post.
