This Beef Broccoli Stir fry Chinese is also made with mushrooms and comes in an authentic Chinese sauce that y0ur going to want to make time and time again.

Serve this alongside some Shrimp fried rice to make it a whole meal.

When making this dish you want to be sure not to over cook the broccoli as it is much better a bit crispy!

Also, be sure to marinate the sliced beef for at least 30 minutes prior to ensure it tenderizes well.

Put on a pot of white rice as well, it goes very well alongside rice as it has a nice sauce.

HOW TO MAKE BEEF BROCCOLI STIR FRY

You can either use powdered ginger, garlic and onion powder or fresh ingredients for this dish!

Then you will want some easy fry sliced beef, broccoli and mushrooms.

What I love about this dish is that it really is easy to make and a healthy dinner option that even the kids will want seconds of.

Be sure to serve with white rice or make some Chinese fried rice on the side.

Beef Broccoli Stir fry Chinese

Beef and Chinese Broccoli Stir fry

Cook Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of sliced beef
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 2 cups of broccoli
  • 1 cup of brown mushrooms, diced into fours each
  • 1/4 cup of beef stock
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp of Soya sauce
  • 1/4 tsp of white pepper

Instructions

  1. Start by marinating the sliced beef in a bowl with cornstarch that has been whisked with water, in the fridge for 30 mins
  2. Then in a large frying pan, add 1/2 cup of water and the broccoli sauté for 3 mins on medium heat to steam the veggies then remove the broccoli and remove the water.
  3. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of sesame oil and saute the diced mushrooms till soft and lighlty browned.
  4. Remove the mushrooms and set aside with the broccoli
  5. Next, strain the water from the beef and add cooking oil to the pan and sauté the beef with ginger powder, garlic powder and onion powder till browned.
  6. Remove the beef and set aside
  7. Next whisk 1 tsp of corn starch into the hot/simmering beef stock that you just added to the pan.
  8. Once blended, add in the soya sauce, oyster sauce, pepper and
  9. Toss back in the veggies and beef and sauté for a few mins before serving.
