These Bacon Green Beans with Mushrooms can be served as a meal on it’s own or as an awesome side dish to any one of your holiday festivities.

Bacon Green Beans with Mushrooms is ready in less than 30 minutes and can uses either fresh or frozen green beans.
Today, I used frozen green beans. Just make sure you have fully defrosted the green beans prior to sautéing.
I don’t know about you but this mixture is perfect, however you can add other vegetables beans if desired like asparagus or broccoli would work really well with the mushrooms and bacon too.
HOW TO MAKE BACON AND GREEN BEANS
- Start by frying the bacon, once it has been cooked. Place the bacon on a cutting board and chop it finely then set aside.
- In the same pan, sautéed your sliced mushrooms the thinner the mushrooms the better in my option.
- Then in a large pot, cover the green beans and boil in water till cooked. Anywhere from 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the beans and toss into the frying pan, add back in the bacon and cooked mushrooms
- Sauté over medium heat for 5 minutes and serve hot!

- 970 grams of whole green beans
- 1 package bacon
- 300 grams of sliced mushrooms
