Looking for an Easy way to prepare beets? Then your going to love this Air Fryer Beets recipe.

Because once they are air fried in their skin, they peel off clean.

Yes, that is right clean. There is no beet juice left everywhere, like when you would have if you boiled them.

Plus the air fryer roasts beets perfectly, allowing for easy peeling shortly after once they have cooled down.

Your family will think you where slaving in the kitchen with messy beets all afternoon

When in fact you where really allowing the miraculous air fryer do most of the messy work.

These beets are straight from our garden, some of the beets are small while others large. They all cook at the same length of time though in the air fryer and come out dee-licious!

CAN YOU AIR FRY BEETS

Well yeah, and it is my favorite way to prepare them. I used to bake them in tin-foil prior to owning an air fryer.

Now, that preparation method is HISTORY!

The air fryer does the same job, in a quicker time frame and less mess.

I like to make these beets fresh straight from my garden.

Then I will simply season them with salt and pepper and lots of butter.

Simple is best when it comes to beets if you ask me.

HOW TO AIR FRY BEETS

It is super simple to air fry beets, this enables you to skip using the oven too.

So on a hot summer’s day, you can save yourself the hassle of extra heat in the house.

  • Start by taking your beets, with the skin on and place them directly into your air fryer.
  • Air fry anywhere for 30 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Once they are fork tender, simply allow them to cook down and then peel.
  • Slice the beets on a cutting board and then toss into a medium sized bowl.
  • Add the butter, salt and pepper.
  • Toss to coat and enjoy!

AIR FRYER COOKING TIMES

I use the T-Fal Active air fryer and put these beets on for 30 minutes, please check with your air fryers cooking instructions.

However, to convert an oven-cooked recipe to an air-fryer one, the general rule of thumb is to reduce the suggested temperature by 25°F or 3.889 C and then cut the cook time by about 20%
