This is the best Mexican bowl recipe because it uses authentic Mexican spices and ingredients. You can add a few more ingredients to this dish if desired such as corn, tomatoes and fresh jalapenos. And even cheese if desired!

WHAT GOES IN A MEXICAN BOWL

You can have just beans such as black beans or pinto or you can have just meat such as pork, chicken or beef. Or have a mix such as I have in this recipe, you can also shred the meat if desired or cube it.

Jalapeno Peach Salsa

Looking for another great homemade salsa recipe? Try my Cabbage Pico De Gallo

Basically all you are going to need is some fresh peaches, fresh jalapenos along with a chopped onion, orange pepper, cilantro and salt to taste.

This recipe has recently become very popular on this blog. As it was featured over on onebitevegan.com some months back.

This salsa is on that list of my favorite homemade salsas and cannot be found in the stores.

So if you love salsa as much as me, then you are going to want to give this one a try!

WHAT DOES PEACH SALSA GO WITH

Not only does it go so well paired with your favorite nachos; it also goes well when paired alongside chicken and pork dishes.

So whenever I’m making this I will make a big enough batch, so that I can use it in a few different ways.

You will find an awesome recipe below that feature this salsa, which you’re sure to love!

A sweet and spicy salsa that you can’t go wrong with!

HOW TO MAKE PEACH SALSA

  • I like to add all my ingredients to a small food processor, which will chop it all together in a jiffy.
  • Just make sure it’s set to slow chop as your not wanting a puree.
  • However if you don’t have a food processor, then feel free to use a knife just make sure you are chopping it all up as small as possible.

I also like to double up this recipe as it saves great in the fridge for the very next day. In which I will make either some pork chops or grilled chicken and serve this salsa right alongside.

Both recipes are listed below, I hope you give one of them a try!

My “Rosemary Pork Chops“. See here for delicious recipe!!

Or this awesome Grilled Chicken with Peach Salsa, recipe talk about versatile eh!

Healthy Ground Turkey tacos

These healthy ground turkey tacos are absolutely delicious! And make for an excellent quick dinner option.

Looking for more taco recipes? Try my Tilapia Tacos.

Turkey tacos are not only an excellent weeknight meal, they can also feed a large crowd.

Simply double the recipe up and you can go from feeding a family of 3 to 6 to 9 and so on.

NOW THOSE ARE SOME BEAUTIFUL TACOS GUYS!!

If your family loves hamburger type tacos then they are guaranteed to like these as well.

Plus they are much healthier as turkey meat is leaner than beef.

WHAT GOES WITH TURKEY TACOS

  • Pico De Gallo
  • Guacamole
  • Avocados
  • Black Beans etc

HOW TO SEASON TURKEY TACOS

You will start by searing the Ground Turkey in a non stick frying pan, then once it has lightly browned.

You will want to add in some poultry seasoning, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and cayenne pepper.

Then lastly 3 tbsp of Jalapeno Juice from either the can of the Jalapenos or jar. This adds an extra hint of spice and makes the meat very juicy!

HOW TO MAKE TURKEY TACOS

Basically all you are doing is sauteing the Ground Turkey in a non stick pan along with the taco seasoning till browned.

Then simply assort the Turkey meat into warmed taco shells.

Top with cheddar cheese of your liking and your favorite tomato salsa.

However most of the spice for these tacos comes for the “Jalepeno Juice” that you will want to add to the Turkey meat. Trust me, it is a game changer and really spices this recipe up.

  1. Shred the cheese, and remove some juice from the Jalapeno jar on hand.
  2. Next, simply saute the ground turkey meat along with the spices and jalapeno juice.
  3. Then the tacos are ready to be put together, serve with some fresh avocado slices.

Looking for an awesome recipe for Mexican Salsa? Any of these two recipes would go very well alongside these tacos.

Instant Pot Vegetarian Chili

This Instant Pot Vegetarian Chili is as easy as it gets as it is ready in less than 10 minutes! As the whole recipe has you simply adding ingredients to the instant pot and allowing the pot to do all the work for you.

This recipe provides a full hearty meal that is not only inexpensive but healthy too. Ready set Instant Pot!

Love cooking with beans? Then you will want to try my Cuban Black Beans and rice OR Vegan Cuban Black Beans

Chili is best made in the Instant pot if you ask me, that is because the pressure cooking method cooks the beans well making them super soft and delicious.

I use powdered ingredients for this recipe to speed up the process for those in a hurry to get dinner on the table.

However, you can always chop some fresh onions & garlic instead of using powder if desired.

And you can always make this on the stove-top as well or slow cooker but that will take a longer, so depending on what you have going on for the day.

The instant pot method may be more up your alley.
